Life after training can be challenging. The support systems accessible in medical school and residency are no longer available. You do not have to go it alone. Join us for a networking event consisting of a one-hour lecture followed by networking. This program is directed at helping you gain insight into career development and the Business of Emergency Medicine. This free program will help you create a support network and learn about the business aspects of emergency medicine, both of which should help you advance your career in emergency medicine.

This event will focus on How to Get Things Done in the ER. There is conflict inherent in the transaction required to admit a patient from the ER. We represent work to the inpatient staff. “How to get things done . . ” is a compilation of  negotiating techniques that  might help make the process a little easier.
